Bob Dylan gets our vote!

So the burning question....do song lyrics qualify as literature? Critics say literature is something read silently to oneself. In the world of video, live streaming, podcasts and audio books, we couldn't disagree more. Dylan's lyrics are timeless. They are powerful. They move your head and your heart. In fact, some say his lyrics are so prolific, they make you collapse like a house of cards. Take Positively 4th Street - written in 1965:
You see me on the street, you always act surprised
You say "how are you?", "good luck", but ya don't mean it
When you know as well as me, you'd rather see me paralyzed
Why don't you just come out once and scream it.
Written over 50 years ago, but it could have been written yesterday. We send our vote of support to Bob Dylan...for making us better than we are. For continuing to create. And for inspiring us for the past 50 years. Rock on!
